lexi welch uses video, photography, sculpture, text, and sound as conduits for unstable representation. Across disciplines, the work underscores the fraught relationships between legibility, narrative, and the image in order to provoke alternative methods of making meaning through desire, disorientation, and ambivalence. lexi holds a BA in Film and Electronic Arts from Bard College, an MFA from the University of Pennsylvania, and attended Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture in 2022.
